About Me
I am a 24 year old recent University of Texas graduate working as a software engineer for a small company in Austin. I grew up in a military family so I have lived all over. I was born in Mississippi and then soon moved to Germany. I’ve also lived in Virginia, Florida, Kansas, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Texas, and even Iceland. I was in Texas for 8th, 9th, and 10th grade. I decided later on that I wanted to return to Texas for college because I really enjoyed it there.
I love to travel. In college I traveled any chance I got. I took a road trip to California. I flew to Hawaii during one spring break. I flew to Philadelphia for another spring break. I was in Yellowstone during one summer. The list goes on. In the last 4 months, I have flown to Denver 3 times, but that’s a different story! I was just in Atlantic City recently.
Another big part of my life is music. I started playing guitar around ten years ago and I am primarily self-taught. I studied a lot of music in college. I have taken classes in music theory, jazz appreciation, and music in film. I enjoy a lot of instrumental music. Most of my favorite bands are from the 80’s. I plan on learning the banjo and piano eventually.
Not too long ago, I joined an 80s cover band as the lead guitarist. We’re building up our set list at the moment but soon we will perform live!
In June 2009 I bought a 2007 Corvette. In my spare time I like to work on cars. I go to a lot of local car meet-ups and drives. I have a speed addiction!
